Description
Phanteks Eclipse G500A ATX Tempered Glass Mid Tower Case WH
Premium mid tower powerhouse
The Eclipse G500A pushes the limit with its high airflow design to unlock next-gen CPU and GPU performance. Both the front and top panels feature Phanteks' Ultra-fine Performance Mesh design that combines high airflow performance with excellent dust filtration, all-in-one. With its spacious interior, the G500A is ready for powerful gaming setups, offering 420 radiator in the front, 360 radiator in the top, while having plenty of space for full-length GPUs, multiple HDD and SSD locations, and a vertical GPU mounting option.
Unobstructed airflow front & top
Open top panel design
The top panel design of the G500A is very open, which means only a very small surface blocks the airflow of the fans. Both 120 and 140mm fans have minimal surface overlap compared to other cases.
Open front panel design
The front panel fan bracket of the G500A can be installed in two width positions, depending on which fan size you choose. Because of this feature, there is minimal airflow obstruction for both 120 and 140mm fans.
Perfect size for modern hardware
Recently launched hardware have introduced some physical and thermal challenges when building a system. The Eclipse G500A is perfectly sized to both fit and cool these new GPUs and CPUs without compromise.
Wide enough to fit all GPUs, including stiff adapter cables
The total height clearance for a GPU in the G500A is 190 mm so it will fit all RTX 4000 models including the very stiff power adapter cable.
Dedicated top radiator space
The top of the G500A has dedicated 360 radiator space in the top so the radiator and fans won't overlap with the motherboard or RAM modules. This also maximizes the GPU length clearance.
Higher cooling capacity
With much higher power and thermal capacities for both GPUs and CPUs, the G500A offers the capacity to cool them without limiting clock speeds or performance. Two 360 radiators can be installed simultaneously in the front and top of the chassis. The front also supports up to a 420 radiator for the best possible performance.
Clean cable management
Sliding covers
The sliding covers on the right side of the chassis are great for clean cable management. Slide them all open (to the front) for maximum clearance while routing the cables, and slide them back to (to the rear) after cable routing is finished to cover the cables as much as possible.
Double loop velcro straps
The double loop velcro straps are easy to adjust and makes it a breeze to tie down all cables tightly.
Cable cover doors
Two cable cover doors hide all cables for a clean look. Next to that, the cable doors also offer lots of extra 2.5'' SSD storage locations.
The M25, next generation fan
Optimised performance
The new M25 fans are optimized to perform the best with fine mesh/dust filters, heatsinks and radiators with reduced RPM levels.
Because of the high airflow/RPM ratio, the M25 fans can run on lower speeds to minimize bearing and motor noises.
Integrated D-RGB lighting
The M25 fan hub has integrated D-RGB lighting for a diffused lighting effect. They can be easily connected to other Phanteks D-RGB products or synced to an ARGB-equipped motherboard with included Motherboard adapter.
Daisy-chain cables
The M25 fans are daisy-chained for clean and hassle-free cable management. Connect the fans to each other and only one cable needs te be connected to the motherboard fan header.
Lighting done right
The Eclipse G500A comes with integrated tastefully executed D-RGB lighting. Next to the two integrated D-RGB strips, the D-RGB Black & White models also come with M25 D-RGB fans and a software-free integrated D-RGB controller that just works directly out of the box.
Integrated D-RGB controller
The integrated D-RGB controller comes with pre-programmed D-RGB color presets. These options can be controlled software-free with the physical D-RGB mode and color buttons on the top I/O.
If software control is preferred, the G500A D-RGB controller can also be synced to your ARGB motherboard, using the M/B D-RGB 3-pin adapter that comes with the case.
Integrated D-RGB LED strips
The smooth and diffuse lighting accent on the PSU shroud is achieved through 30 LED chips, while the front lighting strip uses 10 LED chips.
Motherboard support
The G500A supports the following motherboard sizes: Mini-ITX, mATX, ATX and E-ATX (up to 280 mm)
Fan positions
- Up to 7 x 140 mm fans
- Up to 7 x 120 mm fans
Radiator support
- Top: Up to 360 radiator
- Front: Up to 360/420 radiator
- Rear: 120/140 radiator
PSU support
The bottom compartment space is shared between the HDD brackets and the PSU. The PSU clearance is 195 mm or 250 mm depending on how many HDD brackets are installed. There are 2 possible HDD configurations.
250 mm PSU clearance when 2 HDD brackets are installed in position B. This configuration maintains optimal clearance (95mm) for front radiator installation with adequate PSU clearance.
195 mm PSU clearance when 4 HDD brackets are installed in position A and C. This configuration offers the most storage support in the bottom section.
GPU support
The GPU length clearance is 435 mm, if the fans are installed in the front side of the front bracket. When HDD brackets are installed on the M/B tray where the GPU sits, the GPU clearance is limited to 294 mm.
